The sannyasis beg from door to door, not for money but for missionary purposes. The system is that they go from door to door to awaken the householders from the slumber of ignorance. Because the householders are engaged in family affairs and have forgotten their actual purpose in life-awakening their Krishna consciousness-it is the business of the sannyasis to go as beggars to the householders and encourage them to be Krishna conscious. As it is said in the Vedas, one should awake and achieve what is due him in this human form of life. This knowledge and method is distributed by the sannyasis; hence charity is to be given to the renouncer of life, to the brahmanas, and similar good causes, not to any whimsical cause.
Things needed for the asrama

 We have 100 ft x 35 ft satsanga hall. At present it has only a plastic cover as the roof. We need a roof made from 'jhandu' (a type of grass). This shall keep the hall cool and peaceful. This shall create sattvika environment conducive for bhajans, kirtans, yajnas, satsanga, classes, and prasadam distribution. Rs. 1 lakh

 Floor area of the satsanga hall is about 90 x 35 square feet. We need help in finishing the cement floor. Rs.75,000/-

 Speaker, microphone and the amplifier system for the temple.We need two loud speakers, one for the temple and the other for the main gate. So that the kirtans, hari-katha, and so on are constantly broadcast to the farm residents and neighborhood. This shall greatly benefit the devotees on the farm and the people in the neighborhood. The plants, trees, creepers and other living entities in the vicinity will also benefit.

 Four-wheel vehicle such as a car or a jeep for the transportation of the devotees and visitors, the holy books for mass distribution, Hari-nama Sankirtana, feeding the elderly, helpless people and the orphans.

 Two wheeler vehicle to transport devotees, visitors, and children from asrama to Heserghatta town for various purposes such as doctor's visit, market, city visits and so on.

 Beds, blankets, pillows, mosquito nets and so on for another asrama for children.

 Bathroom and toilet facility for children (dimensions 30 ft x 10 ft) with the hot water.

 Help for micro-irrigation to conserve water.We want to set up a model example in becoming self-sufficient in all asrama requirements such as vegetables, pulses, grains, milk and so on. It needs water drip irrigation system. We hope to become a model example to the villagers. So that the villagers do not migrate the cities. Instead they shall be able to live happily on the farm income available from the limited land available to them. The model we are try to establish is low-water, organic, harmonious multi-crop agriculture.

 Go Seva
We have built a cow shed to protect native Indian cows. It needs further work, covering with mosquito net and doors. We will utilize the cow urine for preparing medicines to treat patients in our health retreat program.

Right now we have facility for 15 children. We need beds, blankets, pillows, clothes, books, towels, and so on.
